At first the film might seem identical to another Disney’s movie “The Jungle Book”, however it is modified very creatively.

Plot: The film focuses on an 11 year old child (Pete) who lost his family a few years ago in an accident and grew up in a jungle from there. Pete was parented by a dragon (Elliot). On a day, a lady named Natalie brought Pete her home. She shockingly came to know that a dragon took care of Pete for six years. Now because of being a Dragon, Elliot is being hunted by the mankind.

Box Office: The film performed well at the Box Office if not amazingly, especially in foreign countries.

It is not just another kid movie; the film conveys a strong appeal for all the ambitious parents who want their child to be a perfect academic grown up.

The little girl showed her curiosity to hear Aviator’s story about “A Liitle Prince”. Then during the story, she came to know that how the Aviator rediscovered the child inside him when his plane was crashed in a desert.

Plot: Zootopia is a place where there are anthropomorphic mammals, they are civilized and do not remain naked. When Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit to join the Zootopia police force, she comes to know that she still has to prove herself as a true cop and so she jumps into a harsh case to solve it.

Box Office: 2016 brought zillions to the pocket of The Walt Disney Company; Zootopia also earned around a billion dollars along with Finding Dory and The Jungle Book.

Films that were missed to be in the “Best” list

There are some more fascinating movies from 2016 for kids; however they were missed to be in the list of the best because of their MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) ratings. Despite these films contain all the ingredients a kid wants in a film.

One such movie is “Sausage Party” which is rooted on unwonted concept where food items realize the fear of being eating or cooked. But the film is R rated so it had no chance to be called an ideal kid movie.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is also in this missed films list because of its PG-13 rating but it can be called a kid movie because of the content type.

So now we have just gone through a bunch of films here. Some movies may be controversial to be in kids category like “Batman: The Killing Joke” and “Sausage Party” because of their aggressive material, however it does not seem like such films were made for audience other than kids.

It would be interesting if you share your views about films that you have watched or like to mention a kid movie that has been missed here.
